This Yellowstone Icon animation was the first major project in my Motion Design class. We were tasked with animating an icon or logo in a short clip.
I was inspired by my trip to Yellowstone over the summer to design an icon that featured the National Parks Logo, which then turns into a simplified icon displaying 'Grand Prismatic Spring', a popular site within Yellowstone National Park.
This was my first project using Adobe AfterEffects. I enjoyed working in the program, despite being such a new way of constructing a design. The clip is shown below.
